Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on the 13th of March 2020 the Scottish Football Association suspended all football. On the 24th of April 2020 the East of Scotland League announced that the league would be declared complete. Bo'ness United were declared champions and promoted to the Lowland League. There would be no relegation from the Premier Division. Tynecastle, Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale and Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts were promoted into the Premier Division.
